Tangled Language by Jess Schultz
I’m aliiiiive~ Sorry for the lack of art, but you guys know how school is. I’ve been working on this concept art/visual development project in New media which has been reeeaaally fun! I know that concept art is a very competitive field, but I think it would be cool to at least give it a shot.
Right! So the prompt for this piece was “Tangled Language”. One of the first things that popped into my mind was dyslexia and how people with dyslexia process information differently than others. I wanted to show the dilemma that a child with dyslexia faces in school when his needs are not met. I should also note that people with dyslexia tend to be very creative and have brilliant minds.
(also this piece is technically unfinished, some places need to be tightened, but I thought I’d post it anyways cuz I worked so damn hard on this piece)
